Join a Chapter

Applying to Join a BNI Chapter is as simple as 1-2-3

Following are the high-level steps to joining a BNI chapter:

  1. Search for a chapter to join. Click here for a listing of our chapters.
  2. Visit the chapter(s). Please contact some one on the Leadership Team of the chapter to RSVP your attendance at the meeting.
  3. Put in an application to a chapter *.

Once accepted into the chapter, start enjoying the many benefits of being part of BNI!

Guidelines of Membership

Networking requires commitment. The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another through networking. They are a team. As a participant in BNI, you are responsible for complying with the policies and guidelines of the organization. A partial list of the policies of BNI are listed below:

  • Only one person from each professional classification is permitted to join a chapter of BNI.
  • All participants should represent their primary occupation product, service or function.
  • Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute or visitor. This will not count as an absence.
  • Participants are required to bring bona-fide referrals and/or visitors to their chapter of BNI.
  • Members are required to attend the new member orientation known as the Member Success Program (MSP) within 60 days of becoming a member.

* The chapter will inform you of the application process at the time you submit the application. Each chapter has a Membership Committee that reviews each application.
