Executive Director
Scott T. Simon
Executive Director of BNI Metropolitan St. Louis area since December
1994, Scott T. Simon is a native St. Louisan currently residing
in Kirkwood, Missouri with his wife Teresa and daughter Tiffany.
He received a B.S. in Marketing / Business Management and
a M.B.A. in Finance from Central Missouri State University in
1974.
Following graduation he went to work for General Foods Corporation,
Maxwell House Coffee Division where he became the top sales person
for their region in his first year.
In 1975 he returned to the St. Louis area to enter the commercial real estate business and became a partner in the firm of Lechner & Simon Inc. in 1978 specializing in land transactions for companies such as McDonald's, Texaco, Red Roof Inns and many local area businesses where he "helped turn one man's dirt into another man's dream".
In 1994 he was introduced to and became a franchise owner of BNI, The Business Network International for Missouri and Southern Illinois. He is also a contributing author to the best selling book Masters of Networking, Building Relationships for Your Pocketbook and Soul.

Mike’s area of responsibility extends as far south as Arkansas/Oklahoma, as far north as Iowa, west into Kansas and east to St Louis County. It currently consists of (4) developed areas: Springfield/Branson, Joplin/Pittsburg, KS/Neosho, Mid-Missouri (Columbia, Lake of the Ozarks) NE Missouri (Hannibal) and St. Charles/Franklin County. Mike started as a BNI member in 1995 and has held (8) leadership team positions.
BNI Central and Southern Missouri started with approx (8) chapters in 2004 and has grown to over 40 chapters with 1,100 members across the state. Immediate plans for new area growth includes the South Eastern Missouri Area and continuing chapter development across all areas of responsibilities. He is also the MSP trainer for Mid-Missouri, St. Charles County, Springfield and Joplin. Team BNI Central and Southern Missouri was recognized by BNI International for the most new members per chapter in 2009, and was ranked 3rd out of 300+ franchises globally in January 2010.
BNI Central and Southern Missouri has the world record Open House Kick Off launch- (22) members of BNI Greater Joplin Business Connection had (303) visitors attend their open house celebration garnering 56 applications for membership and 2 additional chapters!
Mike was one of the speakers chosen to address 500 members and BNI Directors at the BNI National Conference June 2010, Pittsburg, PA.
Mike lives in St. Charles County. He is married to Michelle, and has a daughter, Dallas attending Culver Stockton College beginning in the fall of 2010. Dallas was awarded a scholarship to play volleyball on the CS Women’s volleyball team.
When not working, Mike enjoys fishing and camping, watching Dallas play volleyball and doing things with the family.

Victor Muzquiz, BNI Area Director

Victor Muzquiz joined the director team on January 1st, 2010. Victor is a native of Mexico, but has lived here for more than half his life, so he considers the U.S. his home. Victor joined BNI as a remodeling contractor in St. Louis, where he was a member of the West County chapter. He became a member of St. Clair County BNI when he and his family moved to O’Fallon. Victor and his wife Virginia have two daughters, Nicole and Megan.
Prior to opening Honey Do Home Repair and Remodel, Victor was a foreign language teacher for over ten years. Victor earned his Masters in Teaching at the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT where he earned a Masters Degree in Bilingual/Multicultural Education. Victor has always considered himself first and foremost a teacher, and education and training have always been top priorities in his professional life. One of the primary reasons that Victor accepted the position of Area Director for BNI is that BNI spends thousands of hours educating and training its members about networking skills and solid referral marketing practices. In addition, he appreciates the incredible opportunity BNI offers to learn about a wide variety of businesses and best practices as chapter members of share their extensive knowledge of their professions.
Victor is responsible for the management and the development of BNI chapters in Southern Illinois and South County Missouri. His passion is sharing with others the opportunities for professional growth and increased revenue that come with membership in BNI.
